Revolution: The E-Horse is Here – and the First “E-Horse-League” is Just Around the Corner!

FROM OUR SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT FOR QUESTIONABLE INNOVATIONS
The equestrian world is on the brink. For years, riders have had to painstakingly learn to understand, care for, and physically exert themselves with an animal. Finally, a visionary start-up from Silicon Valley has presented the solution: The E-Horse. It is the end of the era where “gallop” meant you had to break a sweat.
No More Vets: Charging Instead of Grooming
Let’s be honest: Who has time (and money) for deworming, farriers, and the endless search for the perfect stable and the perfect saddle? The E-Horse (Electric Horse, model “Volt-hoof 1.0”) parks space-efficiently in the hallway and is ready for the Grand Prix after three hours at the power outlet. It doesn't bite, it doesn't shy away from plastic bags, and - the absolute game-changer - it doesn't produce manure.
“We are optimizing the riding experience,” explains the CEO of Volt-hoof Inc. “We have eliminated that dreaded show-jumping feeling when the horse stops in front of an obstacle. Thanks to the all-wheel hub motor in the rear wheel, every obstacle is cleared as long as the battery is above 20%. We call it ‘E-Traction’—because ‘trust’ is so 19th century.”
Volt-Dressage: Perfection via App
The true revolution, however, is taking place in dressage. Why struggle with leg aids when you can glide perfectly through the arena? Judges will be impressed by the quiet, almost meditative hum of the electric motor and the stoic calm - after all, the rider only needs to focus on the right facial expression and stand firmly on the scooter, or rather, E-Horse.
Shock for Traditionalists: The “Hobby Horse Hardliners” are Outraged
Of course, there is resistance. The growing scene of hobby horse enthusiasts (the people who jump over obstacles on stick horses) is particularly shocked.
“This is a betrayal of the sport!” rages the spokesperson for the “Original Hobby Horse Alliance.” “Where is the physical performance when you’re standing on an E-scooter? That’s like e-biking at the Tour de France!”
But it’s not just the hobby athletes hitting the barricades; the classic equestrian scene is also deeply concerned.
“We have spent decades refining the connection between horse and rider,” comments an experienced dressage rider, visibly irritated. “If someone suddenly comes tearing through the arena at 25 km/h with a lithium-ion battery, pretending to trot, our entire culture loses its respect for the living creature. That has absolutely nothing to do with horsemanship anymore - it’s simply a technocratic role-playing game at the expense of our tradition.”
But the trend-riders just wave it off.
“We are optimizing efficiency,” counters a proud E-Horse owner. “In a world where time is money, pure muscle power is simply no longer competitive, and horses just aren’t ‘in’ anymore. Where is the innovation in real equestrian sport? All we see is rising prize money, but no more thrills in the trials. It’s simply boring and outdated. I’m cruising through the Grand Prix level dressage at 25 km/h now. That is the future.”
The World Sensation: The E-Horse League (EHL) is Coming!
And the future is already contractually secured. We at The Carrot Post have exclusive information: The founding of the EHL (E-Horse League) is planned for 2027.
“This will be the first truly fair competition in the world,” enthuses the league president. “It’s no longer about the animal, but about the programmer. There will be E-Dressage, E-Horse Carriage, E-Horse Cross Country, E-Horse Show Jumping, E-Horse Endurance and E-Vaulting competitions. In dressage, the champion will be the person whose programmer designed the software for the most complex Grand Prix freestyle for the E-scooter and brings it into the arena without losing the Bluetooth connection to the main computer.”
There is talk that the EHL will also include a special category for “E-Gallop Races.”
“For the E-Gallop races, we want to look to Formula 1 for inspiration,” the EHL managing director reveals.
It’s primarily about who manages their battery most efficiently and who has the most spectacular charging station interface in the pit stop. We can hardly wait for 2027, when the first trophies for “Best E-Motor Software” and “Most Elegant Tire and Battery Change Sequence” will be awarded.
Our Conclusion: Those Who Get Stuck in Tradition Lose
The E-Horse is not a toy - it is a statement. A statement against the sweat of the past and for the efficient, innovative future of equestrian sport.
